This are some of the questions that the speakers at NPD Scandinavia in Copenhagen had talked about today. We have heard about several obstacles, ”How to do” and ”How not to do” from speakers from Tetra Pak, Arla Foods, Philips, VolvoCars, Danfoss and many more.
The common ideas that the speakers had talked about is more or less an agenda of cross-over work (having multi-competent teams), ethnographical research, and also that the focus today is to improve people’s lives, not to improve products.
So today product development is to solve someones ”daily live”, not to create or develop an artifact!
